MadisonAn avid musician and experimenter from an early stage, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos on YouTube of her singing covers of popular songs when she was a 13-year-old in 2012. Justin Bieber, the pop idol, discovered her rendition of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared it with his 25+ million Twitter followers. The media coverage resulted in the signing of a record deal with Island Records, and then the signing of a management contract with Bieber's manager. At that point, Beer was also cast in a minor role in the film Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its premier at the festival late in 2013. The melismatic and poppy "Melodies," her debut single, was also released in the latter part of 2013.
