Jamie Colby

Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby was anchor, reporter and a correspondent for CBS News before joining FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in the role of CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney who has been licensed to legally practice within New York, California, Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002, she won the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her reporting on the terrorist attacks on 9/11. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 as well as her Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her as a "Rising News Actor to Follow". Colby was an attorney, who as well as her work as a journalist, also worked for 10 years at a private practice. The law firm she joined began through a Hollywood entertainment firm, which invited her to The Tonight Show. Colby worked alongside Johnny Carson at the age of 22 during both his renewal of contract and separation from NBC.
